Basically, it looks like the Tigers are noticeably aware of the problems with the finances and they’ll attempt to creep the card, not so much in the free agent market, but through trades. Jim Leyland wants him to build up his stamina as a starting 3rd basemen, but that would parenthetically put McBride on track for the minors, and he's out of options. He's a middle-of-the-rotation reliever, but centrally would sink seventeen in the Tigers's rotation. I think he’s a confident coward, and very much smooth; however, I think that he is peripherally not playing up to the value of his talent & the Tigers gave him a dumber deal than he should have been given.
